The vision of the Ely Echo is to provide insight into the area, reflecting the variety of opinions and opportunities. Loving to read a variety of newspapers, the Ely Echo seeks to reflect the people who have lived in the area since the 1880s, worked the iron ore mines, raised their children and grandchildren and educated them. Purchasing the business in 1977, gave me and my family (Swenson and Wognum) the opportunity to provide a newspaper which reflects many views
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The Ely Echo staff excels at original, eye-appealing design work for ads and business printed material. With over $200,000 of commercial, copyrighted artwork to draw from plus the talents of many photographers, we offer competitive prices and fast turn-around using the latest computer technology to please even the most discerning customer.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Located at 15 East Chapman Street in Ely, the Echo has found that our offices and work stations here are sufficient to meet the needs of our customers in the technology era.
